Scavenger Hunt Join us for a just-for-the-fun-of-it day of sailing to nowhere-in-particular on a photo scavenger hunt followed by an informal clubhouse meal and slideshow of the results. Originally designed as a smaller boat event, any boat can participate. This is an official PMYC sailing and social event and can be applied to your participation requirements. Each boat crew takes pictures of items on a list of things you might or might not see sailing between Fay Bainbridge, Indianola, and Carkeek, for example, eagle, orca, ketch, float plane, another club’s burgee on a boat, etc. You will upload the pictures from your phone and we'll create a slideshow. In the evening, we meet at the clubhouse, eat, present everyone’s pictures, and maybe hear a fun story or two, also awards (TBD). When: Setup at noon. Start hunting at 1:00. This is an excellent cruise for smaller sailboats because the destination is close to home and the current through Agate Pass is favorable. On Saturday, the tide turns to a flood at the north end of Agate Pass at 3:16 PM. On Sunday, the tide turns to an ebb at 10:24 AM. It also counts toward the sailing event requirements for big boat moorage.
