The Commodore's Challenge Race

This year, the 2026 Commodore’s Challenge takes a new tack where we honor the skippers who bring new talent to the water. Members are encouraged to bring sailors "who require explicit instruction” out sailing, regardless of age. The skipper must be a PMYC member, sailing any boat in Port Madison Yacht Club. Repeat sails count until your new sailor is confident - and you get bonus points for graduating them on to “intermediate!” Please keep track of your mentoring and take photos if at all possible!
