Sailors are hearty and self sufficient folks, but many of us learned the ropes on small boats with no engines or perhaps an outboard. Did you end up with a larger boat that has a diesel engine lurking down below and are not really sure how to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the beast?

In this presentation PMYC's own Frank Renna will review the basics of how these engines work, perform a live demonstration of routine maintenance on a real yanmar engine in Seabold Hall, and discuss some common problems and how to solve them on the water when the Iron Genoa is not happy and neither are you. 

You heard that right.... we will have a real Yanmar 2gm set up for this Salty Speaker. (We will likely need some strong hands to lug the engine.)
