Once again, PMYC cruisers are excited to have Kim Esterberg as our cruise captain for 2010. In December, Kim and Ela hosted the cruise committee at their home to discuss the 2010 cruising schedule. The committee has set the following schedule:
May 1-2 Shakedown to Blake Island
May 28-31 Edmonds Jazz Connection. Cruise to Edmonds on Friday, Jazz Connection activities on Saturday, then onto Kingston for Sunday night of the long weekend.
June 18-19 Summer Solstice Cruise – to correspond with the annual Solstice Party at the clubhouse, the fleet will sail for Kingston on Friday evening, then back to PMYC for party on Saturday. This will be the first year that PMYC is a cruising desination for the Eagle Harbor boats!
July 3-4 Poulsbo Fireworks, fleet will meet in Lemolo area.
July 24-25 River Cruise to Everett. A new event, we plan to set sail on Friday with an overnight in Kingston. From there, a short sail to Everett where the fleet will meet and then explore the Snohomish River by dinghy before sailing back to the island.
Sept 4-6 Gunkhole Around the Island. To change this annual event, we are planning to go counter clockwise this year.
Oct 9-11 Fall Colors Cruise to Lake Washington.
We look forward to seeing our regular cruisers and hope to add a few boats to our cruising fleet in 2010.
