NOTICE OF RACE You are invited to participate in the 2010 JAM Regatta, sponsored by the Port Madison Yacht Club. The Regatta will be governed by the 2009-2012 Racing Rules of Sailing, and the US Sailing Prescriptions, except those altered by the Sailing Instructions or by class rules [...] It looks like we will have 10 junior sailors from PMYC racing this weekend at Poulsbo Yacht Club. Outstanding! I have attached a flier that Poulsbo YC has created with the details. Please be at Oyster Plant Park right next to the yacht club at noon to launch. We will explain the race [...] The annual Fal Joslin Race to Port Ludlow and back on June 12-13 saw 14 boats participate in near perfect conditions under the direction of Race Committee Jim Llewellyn. (Watch for his comments later) Congratulations to Peter Shorett and Andy Parker on Karma–just out of reconstructive surgery and overall winners. Several new boats sailing this year- [...] The first night of the PMYC spring keelboat series is in the books…well, sort of. Four boats headed out last Thursday night, overcast, breeze was 3 to 7 from the North…a pin was dropped – and a course was called by the Commodore - “start between the pin and the flagpole, Jeff head, and back” … The [...] The annual PMYC race to Port Ludlow and back is coming up soon. This race/cruise has been one of the club’s most popular events. Remember to get you moorage reservations by calling the marina–360 437 0513 ASAP. The club has a limited number of slips available.
