The Little Equalizer is an annual team race between the seniors and the juniors with each team sailing three Vanguard 15s. The Friday night weather just doesn’t seem to be cooperating. We only had 3
boats venture out into the rain last week, but we still sailed 6 races and
found enough wind to make it fun. The results were:

Roslyn Webber/Alejandro Gil: 24
Ethan Stahl (laser): 17
Jake Robinson (laser): 13

We started a new series last Friday with a record turnout in the Vanguard 15’s…9 boats. We could use a few more lasers though. Let’s get them off the dock and in the water on Friday nights!

The first 5-week dinghy racing series concluded on May 7. The racing was very close this week with only 2 points separating 1st from 4th in the final standings. We got in 5 races on Friday night as the wind shifted 180 degrees with very localized puffs and big lulls. It was an interesting night! Thank you to the race committee, Randy Mather, for keeping the races moving and finding us the breeze.
