Jim Depue Memorial Race The Port Madison Yacht club is thrilled to host the annual Jim Depue “Rum Race” on February 21st, 2026. The course is a 16.5 mile circuit between Bainbridge Island, Jefferson Head, West Point + Blakely Rock with North and South course directions available dependent on conditions. There will be 5 classes:
“Short Handed” = Single or Double Handed Entries Registration: Register online. Registration will close February 20th at noon. Fees: Early Bird Registration fees (before Feb 16th, 2026) are $20. All registrations on or after Feb 16th, 2026 are $30. Race Instructions: coming soon. Rum: Jim's annual bottle of Rum will be shared and enjoyed by the wood stove back in the club post race with some hot chilli / soup to help warm the courageous sailors.
