Fletcher Bay Cruise The Fletcher Bay Cruise is back on the calendar for 2025! This official PMYC event is unusual in several respects in that it requires navigation to pass the bar at the entrance to Fletcher Bay (mostly timing, some judgment) and, once boats are inside where the water is deeper, virtually compels leisure for reading, socializing, swimming, SUPing boat projects, etc., pending the return of sufficient water for departure. Fletcher Bay is a handy destination for smaller vessels (or for those who may want to drop in by car), being nearby with BI road access (via a member's dock), particularly for those w/o sleeping facilities aboard. Several PMYC members live on FB, some of whom may be on hand with libations, water cannons, or other appropriate greetings! We’ll gather in Blakely Harbor on Saturday evening. On Sunday, we’ll depart Blakely Harbor mid to late morning before the flood through Rich Passage turns to ebb and sail to Manzanita Bay for the evening. Monday morning we'll relax and enjoy the upper ends of Manzanita Bay until Agate pass turns to ebb. For more information about the cruise, see Round Island Gunkhole Cruise.
