Time to start the 2012 racing series! Please start planning for the Depue. NOR, registration information and Sailing Instructions can be found within the West Sound Sailing Association Handbook located here: www.wscyc.net/WSSA/index.htm There will be three classes; 140 and under, 140 and over, as well as a non flying sails division and do not miss the get together at the PMYC clubhouse after the event!
Paul Faget & Brad Butler’s Dos takes first place in 48 Norths top 25! Doing well in 4 of their recorded races and having some great large classes. Great Work! Davy Lynch’s White Cloud came in a respectable 20th to finish up the also rans.
There’s More! Dos scores again on Pressure Drops tally of PNW races coming in second out of 535 boats, just one point out of first! Not far behind is Dave Lynch’s White Cloud in 8th followed by Ben and Jennifer’s More Uff Da in 42nd. There’s also a local Dash 34, Karma in 47th, with more PMYC boats on down the list. This list promotes participation along with good placing while including the WSSA series and Round Bainbridge in it’s list of 24 races. Take a look through the list and find your boat! Great work on the Race Course in 2011 PMYC! . We will be having two fun events this year!
10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Potluck brunch, trains, and Santa visit This is for kids 9 and under (of course, older kids are welcome too but will not receive a gift from the big guy) Santa will be bringing a gift so please RSVP with the name and age of the good little boys and girls who will be attending. Please bring: A-G: Sweet breakfast treat H-R: Savory breakfast treat S-Z: Fruity breakfast treat
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Pizza, trains, and a Juniors party This is for kids 10 and up. The clubhouse will be decorated and the trains will be running. We’ll be having cookie decorating, games, and a fun gift card exchange so please bring a $5 gift card of your choice and $5 for pizza.
